As a domestic customer, it was quite a work-up trying to find replacement domed inserts for our dining chairs. Like so much furniture these days, our chair were made in China. Great design, but trying to get replacement feet was proving a nightmare. After much searching on the web, thankfully we found 'castors unlimited'. They were very helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough. Oh, the product, Good quality,made in Britain. What more could we ask for!

The castor was perfect for our needs, to replace a broken one and use an existing stem which couldn't be removed. So many castors nowadays come with a stem which can't be removed.

I found Castors Unlimited by chance whilst searching on internet and have used them twice recently. Very helpful staff in choosing the correct castor for the relevant chair and at a great price - and a speedy delivery of the parcels.

I am delighted with the castors I received today from Castors unlimited and would recommend this company to everyone, even if they only want one item, as I did! My office chair was great apart from one dodgy castor which collapsed, so I was thinking I'd have to spend money on a new chair. It seemed so silly to have to get a new chair when the only thing wrong with it was one castor! I thought of looking in the local 'tip' because people are always dumping swivel chairs there - then I suddenly thought, I wonder if you can actually buy a castor as a separate item. I had never heard of anyone doing that, but I just did a bit of googling and there was the answer.

Several companies seemed to be viable contenders to supply what I needed, but Castors Unlimited had by far the most impressive website. So I just measured my broken castor and filled in the online form - two days later my problem was solved. I actually bought two because I never know if another castor might collapse (the chair is about ten years old!) and they are so inexpensive that it seemed silly not to.

I should have been more careful measuring the diameter of the stem, however, because what seemed to me to measure as 10mm turned out to be 11mm, so the castor that arrived was too thin, but a quick phone call sorted out the problem and Castors Unlimited had no problem in changing it for the fatter one!

I am especially pleased because the new castor is actually better than the original. The actual rollers are wider, so they cover more of the carpet and therefore spread my weight better, making a smoother glide. A bit like the wide car tyres on cars like BMW, Saab, Audi, Jaguar etc.

So I am delighted with the service which is friendly, helpful, inexpensive, and well able to sort out exactly what you need, saving me the cost of buying a whole new appliance.

   The castor needed to fit onto the 15mm wide frame of a drawer. The choice of stems included this U bracket option and it was very easy to fit. Castors Unlimited are certainly competitive, I have had a good Google around, but price isn't everything as service is very important too.  Whilst one is able to see prices online there is little indication on how good the service may be.   CU have proven on both counts so I have little intention of going anywhere else.
